Yezdi Scrambler (RE Scram Rival) – Price, Colors, Engine, Key Details
Classic Legends reintroduced the Yezdi brand to the country with the launch of three new bikes, namely, Adventure, Scrambler and Roadster. Reservations and deliveries of the motorcycles have already started across the country. Interested buyers can test drive. The new Yezdi bikes will be retailed through the brand’s existing dealer network.
Speaking of the Yezdi Scrambler, the model was offered in six color combinations: Fire Orange, Yelling Yellow, Outlaw Olive, Rebel Red (two-tone), Mean Green (two-tone), and Midnight Blue (two-tone). The orange colored version has been priced at Rs 2.04 lakh, while the yellow and olive hues cost Rs 2.06 lakh. Priced at Rs 2.10 lakh, the two-tone models are the most expensive.
The Scrambler features neo-retro design cues such as circular LED headlights and mirrors, a teardrop fuel tank and dual exhausts. It also includes all-terrain tires, fork gaiters, engine radiator, one-piece saddle with rib pattern, luggage rack and raised rear section with split grab bars. The bike offers a digital speedometer with several features.
For power, the new Yezdi Scrambler uses the 334cc single-cylinder DOHC engine delivering a maximum output of 29.1hp at 8,000rpm and 28.2Nm at 6,780rpm. The company claims the bike has a flat torque curve ensuring “meaty torque velocity throughout the rev range.” It was equipped with telescopic forks at the front and twin gas shock absorbers at the rear.
With a wheelbase of 1403mm, the Scrambler is said to offer “sure handling on all terrains”. The bike gets its stopping power from front and rear disc brakes. It gets Continental dual-channel ABS with three switchable modes – road, rain and off-road. The new Yezdi bike supports the double cradle frame and rolls on 100/90-19″ front and 140/70-17″ rear tires. It has a fuel tank capacity of 12.5 liters and a seat height of 800mm.
