Tata Punch Prices Revealed Today – Variants, Colors, Engine
Tata Punch is expected to mark the brand’s entry into the micro SUV segment in the country. Official prices will be revealed today. We expect the model to cost between Rs 5.5 lakh and Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom). The automaker has already confirmed that the Punch will come in four variations – Pure, Adventure, Accomplished and Creative.
All variants are powered by a 1.2L naturally aspirated gasoline engine which is good enough for 86PS and 113Nm. The engine can be fitted with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT transmission. The Punch AMT variants will be offered exclusively with Traction Pro mode which will provide better control on rough roads. The micro SUV will be available in several color palettes – Daytona Gray, Orcus White, Atomic Orange, Tropical Mist and Meteor Bronze.

It should be noted that the paint options will vary depending on the variants. The top-of-the-line Creative will be available in all of the aforementioned colors with the black roof option. The Meteor Bronze with white roof, Calypso Red and Tornado Blue are reserved for the Creative premium finish. The total length, width and height of the mini SUV are 3840mm, 1800mm and 1635mm respectively. It also offers the best ground clearance in the segment of 190 mm and a trunk volume of 366 liters. The Punch has a water wading capacity of 370mm.
Recently, the Tata Punch got a 5-star safety rating in the Global NACP (New Car Assessment Program). The model under test was fitted with standard safety equipment, including dual airbags, Isofix anchorages and an anti-lock braking system (ABS).
The company will also be offering three packs with the Tata Punch, namely Rhythm (available on the Pure and Adventure variants), Dazzle (available on the Accomplished version) and iRA (available on the Creative version only). These packages will come at an additional cost. While the Rhythm Pack contains additional bonuses, the Dazzle Pack includes cosmetic upgrades. The iRA pack integrates Tata’s iRA connected car technology.
