Maggiore Ferrari 308M Restomod Set for public display at Miami L’Automobile Show
In fact, the Maggiore 308M has been around the world, from New Orleans to Turin. We bet very few recognized what they were watching. It’s not like the other 308s. It’s $ 600,000, to start with. This gives you a seriously bespoke creation that delivers classic Ferrari styling with more modern performance and luxury.
Each body panel has been replaced with carbon fiber. The only parts intact during the rebuild are the doors, the chassis and the engine compartment. The displacement is increased from 2.9 liters to 3.2. The engine now generates 300 horsepower using internal forged parts.
This power is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission equipped with a lightweight flywheel and racing clutch. The body itself is 5 centimeters wider in the front and 10 in the back. It also gets bigger 17-inch wheels and tires to reduce horsepower.
Up front, this is perhaps the most obvious change from the original car. Instead of the classic pop-up headlights that everyone knows the 308 for, this one features sleek, slim horizontal LED headlights tucked into the bodywork.
To rule out the extra 48 horsepower and much lighter weight, the 308M uses large Brembo four-piston brake calipers and ventilated discs. It also gets Koni racing shocks and an all new exhaust system.
After hearing it, it sounds like demonic horses screaming at you to stop being such a chicken and push the go pedal harder.
Now, it will be on full display to fans at the 2021 L’Automobile show in Miami on November 20 and 21. Participants will also appreciate the attention to detail inside the cabin.
You see, the carbon fiber continues inside with machined aluminum, leather, and Maharam surfaces to soothe its occupants. Maggiore will personalize each of its 308M cars according to the specific wishes of the customer so that none are identical.
Buyers will also find bespoke fitting, a head-up display, and even a modern high-end audio system. It should be noted, however, that the price of $ 600,000 listed above does not include the base vehicle.
To get started you will need your own Ferrari 308. Then you will supply it with the 600,000 to Maggiore for work. Of course, what they will get back to you will be a unique masterpiece with classic style and modern feel.
